My “Feed Alberta Tour” is complete and I’m proud to announce that it brought in 50 265 lbs of food & $12 536 (not including online donations) for people in need! I traveled Alberta doing my best to ensure that everyone had a hot meal for the holiday season & I’d say it’s mission complete — not bad for a one man show! THANK YOU to everyone who donated, endorsed & supported my efforts, I couldn’t have raised these numbers without you! I’m incredibly proud of the numbers that we raised and all of this food is going to go a long way in feeding those in need.
I was also honoured to once again serve as an ambassador for the Adopt-A-Teen program, and I’m incredibly thrilled that we were able to hit our goal this year — absolutely amazing. 9000 low income teenagers were given a $50 giftcard on Christmas morning and it was all because of generous donors like you. My belief is that every child deserves a hot meal and a Christmas gift on December 25th, and I’m glad that I was given the opportunity to help supply both of those things to thousands of children.
Thank you, Alberta for allowing me to do this, it’s a complete honour for me and I’m proud of everything that we’ve accomplished together. Lastly, I want to personally thank the Safeway/Sobeys group for being my official home for every stop this year. I couldn’t have done this without their incredible staff and professionalism.
